Ash bowl with low reveal. 10 3/4" diameter by 8" tall.  Finished with three coats of spray lacquer.  Food safe.
 
Wooden bowls are intended to be art pieces.  The finish is food safe and there's not much you need to do for care.  If it's dusty, carefully dust it.  A can of compressed air works great!
 
If you intend to use it for food, some fruit is a nice touch.  Keep the bowl dry though, water is the enemy.
 
Hold the bowl with two hands from the bottom, never from the top edge.
