Indian Rosewood with twig and hole. Quite the feat leaving a piece of the branch sticking out of the bowl.  Termites and juicy bugs did their best to eat away at the tree, but left a beautiful trail of burrows.
11" diameter by 5" tall.
Finished with multiple coats of lacquer.  Food safe.
 
Wooden bowls are intended to be art pieces.  The finish is food safe and there's not much you need to do for care.  If it's dusty, carefully dust it.  A can of compressed air works great!
 
If you intend to use it for food, some fruit is a nice touch.  Keep the bowl dry though, water is the enemy.
 
Hold the bowl with two hands from the bottom, never from the top edge.
